born lucky

i count myself amongst the lucky people in the world.
there have been no windfall gains in my life. neither can i account for any major incident as a stroke of luck.
then what makes me feel lucky.
i believe fate is on my side. through a string of moments that make up life.
i feel lucky when

i see a car pull out to make a perfect parking spot for me in the chaotic market place
i make it thru the red light just in time
i switch on the radio to hear a long lost favourite song
i make it home in time to catch my favourite TV show
i win my family version of KBC
i plead and beg but manage tickets for a bollywood blockbuster, first day, first show (third actually), 10 mins before the show

i feel lucky cause these things happen more often than not
i feel lucky knowing that fate will enable me to make the most of today!

Its nice to know that small things happen for you and more imoiortantly you find happiness in such small things. I think waiting for big things to happen we tend to not realise these small things and enjoy them.
I think you are lucky to have the realization for these small occurences -- that's what you are lucky about.
May you smell sweet like a rose and bloom like a sunflower, always bright and chirpy.
May your attitude remian the same and God bless you.
A well wisher and not as lucky as you are.

Its nice to hear a nice tingle ...quite rare these days as most of us keep gazing into our "so called miseries" and overlook the small miracles of our everyday life.....
Reading this is a breath of freshness as am sure amidst of all (cause everyone has they share of those)someone looks at life with such a zest.....almost enviable......this fits perfectly for you....
"life is not the number of breaths that u take ...but the moments that take your breath away "
love yr spirit.....aparna..

lemontree. that's a nice outlook towards life. we are lucky, all of us. but somehow everyday that little "i-want-more-keeda" pops up in my head and i forget how lucky i am. but i must say that that's the keeda that keeps me going. keeps me working towards a better tomorrow. how does one define better? i don't know! but maybe that's the way i like my life. a lot of luck and one little keeda thrown in to keep things interesting. :-)
